The Wingate is great value for the money spent. The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Their hot continental breakfast was excellent for a light snack before heading out for the day, and it was spread out longer in the morning than most other hotels. An excellent place to stay for business travelers.

My husband and I both agreed we will not stay there again. Not enough parking (they were having a job fair on Sat and there was not enough parking. The bathroom needed an update and a cleaning. Hotel was nice, great location, decent price. Has business center, but we had to ask several times for kids to get off the computers so we could use them. The hotel was nice. The staff was very friendly, but they usually only had 1 person at all times, which was not enough! I waited several times over 5 minutes to ask the front desk staff a question. There were several groups of teens that were visiting during our visit and they left a pretty big mess which had to wait until the cleaning staff arrived the next day to clean things. More staff would be my recommendation. Hotel is centrally located to shopping and downtown Murfreesboro. We had young children and they enjoyed the pool, though the hot tub had so much chlorine it was hard to keep your eyes open. We had some problems with there only being one computer in the business center; we had to request to use the computer several times which was not convenient. I had a slight problem checking in late at the hotel. Then, once I got to my room, they couldn't make my phone work for outgoing calls. People trying to call me at the hotel were told to call back repeatedly because the front desk person was at the wrong phone to route calls to my room. Everything else went smoothly until I checked out. A friend had left my cell phone that I had forgotten for me at the front desk and gave them my name and room number because it was late and I was sleeping. I would not stay at this hotel again. Murfreesboro is a town that I do have to travel for business at least 1 night a week. I will have to find another hotel in the area for my next stay. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. ...read more
